Anime Expo is ever growing, this year definitely packed more people than the year before. AX was held over the July 4th weekend as usual at the Los Angeles Covention Center. Recent reports have confirmed their stay for the next 5 years.
Setting up at the exhibit hall was fine this year, the wait times were not too long and the staff were organized.
It was extremely crowded and packed again this year! AX grows larger each year and there are attendees in every corner. The aisles were more narrow again this year, I'm sure AX just wants to include as many exhibitors, artists, industry, and guests as possible in the exhibit hall, but was shoulder to shoulder throughout many times through the day.
The packed crowd of attendees.
We didn't have the opportunity to debut new hoodie designs this convention, but I'll be designing a bunch of new hoodies over the summer, I've been aching to create new works!
I've been brainstorming a new booth layout for future conventions and will be testing it at our next stop (should be Sac-Anime). As for AX, we've already signed up for next year. =)
